Napster is offering the 512MB Sandisk MP3 player worth around ?30 to customers take out a three-month subscription to Napster to Go at ?14.95 a month. MP3 player offering for free in a bid to tempt U.K. subscribers away from iTunes. Serious war, guys.

SanDisk has anounced a new flash-based MP3 player. The c200 is modified c100 model. The new MP3 player will arrive in October. The 1GB model (the c240) will sell for $80 and a 2GB model (the c250) that’ll go for $100. Both MP3 players will support playback of MP3, WMA, and WMA DRM files (that includes PlaysForSure compatibility), and sport an FM tuner, voice recorder, a microSD memory card for adding up to 2GB of additional storage capacity, a 1.4-inch, 128 x 98 pixel LCD screen, and a battery life of about 15 hours.

MP3playermaker SanDisk cut prices across its e200 line of MP3 players and unveiled a new high-end model, the e280.

Priced at $249.99, the e280 has storage capacity of 8GB, or roughly 2,000 songs. At the low end of the line, the 2GB e250 MP3 player now costs $139.99. The e200 models have a 1.8-inch screen and feature a digital FM tuner and voice recorder.

SanDisk to launch a new MP3-player called Sansa e200. Announced in January, these iPod nano style MP3 player offer up to 6GB of memory, trumping the nano’s 4GB top end. The unit’s 3.5″ x 1.7″ x 0.5″ dimensions compares well with the iPod nano’s 3.5 x 1.6 x 0.27 figure, though the Sansa is twice as thick.

The SanDisk e200 line include 2GB Sansa e250 for $199, 4GB Sansa e260 at $249 and 6GB Sansa e270 at $299.

SanDisk has presented yesterday at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas a SanDisk Sansa e200 MP3 player. Its a top of the line MP3 player with a large 1.8-inch color screen and 6 GB of flash storage.

It is also available in 2 and 4GB models. Its high-strength and lightweight back cover is made with an advanced Titanium alloy that is stronger than steel and highly resistant to scratches and wear. It includes a rechargeable Lithium-Ion battery for long playtime. Dimensions of the Sansa e200 are 1.7 in. wide x 3.5 in. long x 0.5 in. high (4.4 cm wide x 8.9 cm long x 1.3 cm high). The e200 also boasts a FM tuner and a microSD expansion slot and a slideshow function for viewing photos and playing music. The new MP3 player will be available in March 2006 and will be priced at $200, $250 and $300 for 2, 4 and 6 Gb model correspondingly.
