MobiBLU lunch a MP3 player for marathon-runners: the DAH-1900. The player’s awesome 150 hour life. It’s the longest MP3 player in the world!

There is, however, a catch – the player only has 2GB of storage. Working on the assumption that your tunes are saved as 128Kbps MP3s and you happen to enjoy four minute-long pop ditties, that means you’re looking at around 20 hours of tunes. Or, in other words, you’ll end up listening to the same Coldplay album roughly seven times before the player needs recharging.

With its silky black finish and bright yellow and blue OLED display, the DAH-1900 looks quite appealing in a chunky, retro kind of way. It may resemble an old school Walkman, but at 2.1cm x 4.5cm, it’s a fraction of the size.

The stamina-tastic player also has direct encoding, FM radio, FM recorder and voice recording. It supports WMA files with DRM – so you can downloads from Napster, Virgin et al – and has an alarm, sleep timer and the usual USB 2.0 socket.

Korean company MobiBlu has launched a new version of its DAH-1800T mp3 player with the RFID smart card on board, used on the Korean public transportation system.

Usually, you’d have to take your card out and swipe it across the appropriate reader before boarding the train, but if everything goes according to plan with MobiBlu’s new unit, you can still blast the tunes while just rubbing your pocket against the reader and continue on your way.

This is certainly an interesting innovation on the Korean manufacturer’s part, now they just need to integrate a mobile phone, and some games on the thing and maybe it’ll fly state-side.

This little cube-shaped MP3 player has been causing quite a stir around the gadget world lately (at least for a diminutive, cube-shaped MP3 player). So, to find out what all the hub-bub was about, I recently checked out the Mobiblu DAH-1500i, and to be honest.

The cube shape is very cool, it’s not necessarily the smartest setup for an MP3 player. Especially not for a tiny MP3 player. Rather than giving you much real estate to work with for you user interface, you get six equally small surfaces, and since there are buttons on only two of those surfaces, buttons get really small really quickly.
However, the small buttons aren’t a terrible detractor.

The screen is small, and everything on it has to scroll to be read. That means that navigation doesn’t come terribly easily, but navigation on any flash unit this small comes with a cost. At this size, it’s pretty cool that you can do any on-screen navigation.
