iRiver s10

iRiver has unveiled S10, the company’s latest D-Click input-based portable MP3 player. The s10 is only slightly bigger than the new iPod Shuffle, but it adds both a screen and 2GB of storage, and you can record FM as well. Only 17.5g / 42 x 30 x 10.8mm MP3 player features MP3, OGG, and WMA playback, as well as an 8 hour battery life.

The iRiver s10 will be available in Korea in September for $175, or $140 with 1GB of memory.

Apple has unveiled a new product line of iPods and nanos. New MP3 players offering more storage space and longer battery life than previous models. Apple also launched the new iPod shuffle, which it claims is the world’s smallest MP3 player, containing 1GB of flash memory and retaining up to 240 songs. It will priced for $119.

The aluminium-designed Apple nano is small and thin. The battery life of the new nano has also been increased from 14 to 24 hours and can now offer up to two hours of video playback. It comes in a new black 8GB version, which retails for $380; and a 4GB nano model available in silver, pink, green and blue. A 2GB version available in silver.

The new Apple iPod range is available in 30GB and 80GB capacities. It has 20 hours of battery life and six and a half hours of video playback and retails for $499. The 30GB model features up to 14 hours of battery life and three-and-a-half hours of video play back and costs $380.

I think it is the most expensive MP3 player. The luxury mp3 player is cast in 750 gold (18 karat) and it is adorned with 63 diamonds (one-karat). Technically it is a standard Trekstor i.beat organix player. The Gold MP3 player comes with Sennheiser earphones, USB 2.0 cable, line-in cable, software CD, and quick guide.

No word on pricing or availability has been given.

SanDisk has anounced a new flash-based MP3 player. The c200 is modified c100 model. The new MP3 player will arrive in October. The 1GB model (the c240) will sell for $80 and a 2GB model (the c250) that’ll go for $100. Both MP3 players will support playback of MP3, WMA, and WMA DRM files (that includes PlaysForSure compatibility), and sport an FM tuner, voice recorder, a microSD memory card for adding up to 2GB of additional storage capacity, a 1.4-inch, 128 x 98 pixel LCD screen, and a battery life of about 15 hours.
